The first thing the character described went to the city of Nemea. Not far from this settlement there was a lion that terrified the locals. Heracles managed to find the lair of the wild beast, where there were two entrances. The demigod managed to block one of them with stones. Then the strongman waited until the lion appeared at the other entrance and then strangled the animal.

After a while, the protagonist visited the city of Lernaeus. That was famous for the fact that in the swamp, which was located near the aforementioned settlement, there lived a creature that had the body of a lion and had nine dragon heads. To facilitate the task of eliminating the hydra, Heracles took his nephew, whose name was Iolaus.

A close relative of the protagonist subsequently destroyed a large crayfish that was assisting the hydra. Together the men eliminated the creature and then buried one of its heads under an imposing mountain.
