Kubar suggests that the ball get married — after all, they’re in the same box. But the ball is a capricious maiden. She is made of morocco, and she has a cork inside her. Kubar told her it was made of mahogany, but the maiden did not believe him.

Kubar claimed that a swift is in love with her, and when she jumps high, keeps asking her if she agrees to marry him. Kubar was offended.

The next day the boy began to play with the ball. The round bimbo kept jumping higher and higher, and finally disappeared. Everyone was looking for her, but they never found her. Kubar thought she had made it into the swift’s nest. This made his rejected love grow even stronger.

Many years later, the goblet, which had even been gilded, happened to fall into a garbage can. What was his surprise when he saw his aged lover there. Turns out she got stuck in the gutter and then fell into the garbage can. The cube’s love was immediately gone.

The maid took the cubar from the bucket, and he never thought of the ball again.
