One king wishes for a daughter, but so far he has only seven sons. And one day the monarch’s wish comes true. The queen gives birth to a girl, but this wish of the ruler has not come true without a flaw.

There were seven children in one family. And all seven were young boys. However, the father wished for a girl to dilute their company. At some point, the pleas of husband and wife were heard, and the next child in the family becomes a girl. But the birth was not without blemish.

The girl looked very frail and that made the parents hurry up with the baptism. They instructed their sons to draw water from the spring for the baptism of their sister. Even though he had to go alone, they all went to the spring, as each wanted to prove himself before his parents.

Because of their desire to stand up to their families, the young men lose their mug, which then floats away downstream. None of them know what to do next.

Meanwhile, the parents begin to worry. Out of vexation, their father wishes that they may become crows for their slowness. The man’s wish came true. His seven sons became crows.
