Together with the cab driver, they return it to its owner, a rich aristocrat. The cab driver is kicked out.

Gwen the aristocrat offers to choose a reward for the returned mantle — a large sum of money or a cruise in her company. The girl dreams of traveling, but chooses money to share the reward with the cab driver.

Gwen finds the young driver. He tells her he has lost his job. Gwen gives the boy all the money she received from the aristocrat.
