Mikhail Berlioz and Ivan the Homeless are walking on Patriarch’s Ponds. They have a conversation about Jesus, Pointe Pilate and Judas, and meet the foreigner Woland. He prophesies that Berlioz will lose his head and Ivan will go mad.

Woland takes up residence in Likhodeyev’s apartment and sends him to Yalta. Nikonor Bosoi rents the apartment to Woland. The same evening he is arrested for currency possession and then taken to a mental hospital by Bosoy.

Woland gives a concert. Afterwards, the guests discover that the money given to them turns into paper and the outfits disappear.

In the asylum, Bosoi meets the Master. He tells him that he won money in the lottery, quit his job and began writing a novel about the Procurator Pilate. He falls in love with Margarita. The manuscript was refused to be printed, and the Master himself was taken to the asylum.

Woland throws a ball and invites Margarita. He promises a date with the Master. The woman agrees. She smears herself with magic cream and flies on a broom.

The ball ends in fire. Woland and his entourage leave Moscow. The Master and Margarita leave together.
