After renting a hotel room located in London, Nesta Ford awaits the arrival of the ship on which she is to embark on the cruise. Inside the building, the aristocrat meets Lord Mountree, who becomes her interlocutor for the woman’s time in the hotel.

During her stay, Nesta had time to tell the nobleman about all the events that had happened to her over the past few days. The noblewoman also told him about the ship she was waiting for. The Englishwoman plans to take her son Ogden with her. It will be problematic because the child’s father has defended the right to bring up the child. And not just defended it, he took him home with him. And when Mountree had to go away, Cynthia Drassilis shows up at the hotel. And Cynthia shows up at the hotel not alone, but with a young boy. Miss Ford recognizes the boy as her own son.

The mother’s joy was boundless. But no sooner has the widow thanked Cynthia and embraced her son than Mr Ford’s secretary arrives at the hotel.
