Just the other day, Bertie received a letter. It was sent by the girl’s cousin Eustace and was not a simple letter from a distant relative to find out the business and condition of the recipient. The sender resided in Twing Hall with his twin brother and associates.

Upon opening the letter, Bertie was surprised. In addition to the standard greeting and a question about business, the woman saw a description of whole schemes in which her cousin described in detail a new kind of earning. The meticulousness with which Bertie’s cousin had approached describing this money-making scheme astounded the recipient. And the one question at the end of the letter was, «Are you willing to work with us?»

Despite the detail of the description of the venture her distant brother planned to start, Bertie still didn’t fully understand what exactly he was up to. So to find out more about it, the man goes to Twing Hall.

At Twing Hall he is already greeted by Eustace, who reveals his new money-making scheme in even more detail.
