There are several crises that religion is going through. The first is an anti-Christian crisis; the second is an intra-Christian crisis. Everything that at first glance bears only a material character, in fact has its roots in the spiritual world.

Man has conceived of the figure of God as being like himself — good or evil, liberator or rapist. Groups of people have created an image of God as they themselves would like him to be. They transposed their own impressions onto him and conveyed to that image their own limitations. God is revealed in true humanity.

God is neither power nor ruler. He does not manifest himself in natural power. God is the truth, the soul of man, his worldview.

The greatest religious truth is that man cannot be saved individually. The salvation of one implies the salvation of his family, his loved ones, all living things, the whole world. The idea of salvation is born out of man’s depression, his sense of hopelessness. Only contradiction and suffering give rise to development.
