Everard tries to kill his cousin Marshall over his inheritance by locking him in a cage with a predator. The young man manages to escape and the beast kills Everard.

The young aristocrat Marshall King is nearly broke. His rich uncle is a cheapskate and has no intention of helping the young man. To save himself from bankruptcy and trial, he decides to ask his cousin Everard for help and goes to his estate.

Everard is delighted with his brother’s arrival. He shows Marshall his collection and its main treasure, a Brazilian cat. It is a beautiful, black predator of enormous size who loves human flesh.

At night, Everard cunningly locks Marshall in with the raptor. Until morning, the young man fights off the beast, which injures him severely. In the morning, Everard arrives and the cat kills him.

Marshall is rescued from his cage. He learns that his rich uncle passed away the same night that Marshall was trapped in the predator’s cage. Everard decided to destroy all relatives and take advantage of the inheritance. Now Marshall got the whole inheritance.
