Belmonte’s fiancée is captured by pirates, who hand her over to Pasha Selim. Belmonte infiltrates Pasha’s palace disguised as an architect and rescues his beloved.

Belmonte, the bride of a Spanish nobleman, along with her maid and servant, are captured by pirates. They hand the girl over to Pasha Selim. Belmonte travels to Pasha’s villa to find his beloved. On his way he meets Osmin, whom Belmonte asks for help. Osmin refuses to help.

Soon Belmonte meets Pedrillo. He learns that his fiancée is also in distress. The young men agree to save their lovers together.

Pacha tries to get Constanza to reciprocate. Pedrillo manages to get Belmonte into the palace under the guise of an architect. Pacha gives Blonda to Osmin. The girl rejects the latter´s advances and throws him out of the room.

Pedrillo informs Blonde that Belmonte is here and will soon save them. The hero gets Pasha drunk, after which he falls asleep and the couples reunite.
