In the fairy tale «Vanya’s Name-day», toy guests come to the boy’s birthday party. Katya and Anya quarrel twice. The first time they manage to reconcile, but the second time all the other toys get into an argument and a fight ensues. The offended birthday boy drives everyone except the dolls away, because he does not understand who started the fight. Katya and Anya blame the quarrel on the innocents.

The next piece tells the story of two friends, Sparrow Sparrow and Ersh Ershovich. They spent a lot of time together, but could not go to visit each other. Sparrow had a friend, the chimney sweep Yasha, who fed him with bread crumbs.

One day he noticed that Sparrow and Ersh were fighting over a worm. Yasha wanted to reconcile them, but while he was thinking how to do it, the Sparrow snatched his bread, and the fish caught up with him and took a piece. Alyonushka came ashore and said that everything should be divided equally.

The fairy tale «Once upon a time, there lived a little fly,» which, after the flies were destroyed by their masters, was left alone and very bored.
