Several months have passed since the beginning of the new World War. Adolf Hitler’s Germany has already taken over half of Europe and is preparing for war with the Soviet Union and a landing in the United Kingdom. Italy stepped up and started a war in Africa. Thus began a new Great Meat Grinder, whose blades would shred millions of lives.

Not everyone is able to endure the hardships of war, so some people pack their bags and look for ways to leave the unstable continent, wanting to go where there is no war. To the New World, where people have not yet gone to the front for the purpose of destroying the madmen who are waging war to expand their own states and to plant their own anti-human views.

Two young men are now at the train station in Helsinki, and are preparing to go to the United States, expecting to find peace and tranquility there. Both are having a dialogue about their passports. In the process of the dialogue, they meet. One’s name is Ziffel, the other is Kale.
