Hamosite’s normal working day was interrupted by a sudden visit from the manager of Thebes, Psaru. Observing the local entourage, the manager began to reprimand his subordinate to the utmost severity.

The Thebes’ marketplace was not in the best shape. Ugly facades and numerous benches did not improve the appearance of the square. But that’s not why people go there. And very soon the place will be flooded with people.

There is also the palace of the town mayor Hamozit, who is obliged to monitor the welfare of the city and keep it in good condition. But the man is not quite up to the task. Part of the problem of Hamosite’s low efficiency is due to his addiction to alcohol.

And this day was no exception. Waking up after another drinking spree, the skinny Hamosite saw an unexpected guest on the threshold of his palace. He turned out to be Psaru, the broad steward of Thebes. And he appeared in the city for a reason.

Psaru began to chastise Hamosite for the terrible performance of his own duties. The governor’s anger was connected with Pharaoh Ramses’ recent visit to the city. And his impressions were negative.
