The young eagle says that he is housed in a damp dungeon equipped with bars that prevent him from escaping to freedom. This bird confesses that she has been fed throughout her conscious life. She says that one day her sad mate flapped her wing and engaged in pecking bloody food near the window.

The eagle, sitting in the dungeon, claims that its mate began to look out the window. According to this animal, their thoughts at that moment converged in a single impulse-the unfree eagle needed to escape as soon as possible. From the eyes of his companion the protagonist realized that the latter was calling him to himself. He began to think that his friend wanted him to go on an unforgettable adventure together with him.

A bird outside the window called the eagles free creatures, and told him that it was time for the imprisoned animal to gain its freedom, and then to fly away to the place where behind the clouds there was a white mountain.
