Two armies converged in Scotland. One was under the command of the two commanders Macbeth and Banquo, who were defeating their enemies and it seemed that they would soon defeat the enemy.

And while the warriors continued to fight, not far from the battlefield the witches gathered. They gathered for the purpose of praising Macbeth in the rank of Thane of Glamis and Cawdor. The witches were not shy about praising the commander as king. The other commander, Banquo, was declared by the witches to be the ancestor of the royal dynasty.

Seeing the royal messengers, the witches quickly disappear. The messengers inform the warlord that King Duncan has given him the title of Cawdron Thane.

Meanwhile, at Macbeth’s manor, the commander’s wife reads a letter from her husband about his encounter with the witches and the rituals he unwittingly witnessed.

After reading the news from her significant other, the woman begins to think that her beau is the perfect suitor for the throne.
