The little guy was often left alone. He recalls how he recently met a cute puppy. The boy was sitting at an open window dreaming of a dog. At that time, a little man flew by. He circled at the window and asked permission to land.

The well-mannered little boy invited him to sit down. He wondered if it was difficult for the guest to fly. The characters get to know each other and talk. Carlson invites the Little Man to run the steam engine he found in his room. Their prank ends with the machine exploding. The Kid is upset, because now Daddy is sure to be angry with him.

Carlson promises to bring a new car, and even more than one, and then he flies home. In the evening, Babe tells the grown-ups what really happened, but no one believes him.

Carlson arrives again, eats meatballs and builds a tower of dice. In the evening, Babe promises his sister that he will not go out to the dining room because a boy is coming to see her, but Carlson persuades him to break his word. After this incident, he promises Babe to show him his house, and he keeps his promise.
