A verse about Judas Iscariot, a disciple of Jesus Christ.

The author retells his story. Judas betrayed Christ with a kiss for 30 pieces of silver. Then he hanged himself and his status as an apostle was given to Matthew.

The author compares the Catholic high clergy to Judas. By their sinful lives, clerics betray Christ every day. Yet somehow they are not deprived of their status as «heirs of the apostles.» They wear cambric, ride in carriages, live in luxury, but the mitre does not fall from their heads.

However, the author hopes that the day will come when they will lose honor and be disgraced, like Judas.
