Cal and his pregnant sister Becky stop their car at the edge of a field of tall grass. Suddenly they hear a child screaming for help. The brother and sister walk into the tall grass from which they cannot get out.

Cal and Becky, a brother and sister, are on their way to a relative’s house, where a pregnant girl is due to give birth to a baby. The couple stop by a field of tall grass and hear the boy Tobin calling for their help. The brother and sister set out to find them.

Soon Cal and Toby realize that the grass has mystical powers and the field keeps separating brother and sister. They can’t get out of it either. Becky tries to call emergency services, but there is no connection.

Suddenly, the girl meets a man. He introduces himself as Ross, Tobin’s father, and beckons Becky to come with him. Ross leads her to the corpse of Natalie, Tobin’s mother, and attacks the girl. Becky, defending herself, kills him.

Cal finds Tobin, who leads the boy to the Black Stone. The boy claims that the stone will help find Becky. Meanwhile, the girl has a miscarriage. A distraught Cal, who has touched the stone, feeds the baby’s corpse to his sister. When the girl realizes what has happened, she nearly goes insane. Cal convinces her to touch the stone, then everything will be okay.
