An earthling has found himself on another planet. He found friends and a wife there. The alien’s life was a chain of changes and reincarnations. The Earthling couldn’t do that and waited to die, hoping to meet his friends.

Goldstein found himself on the planet Kaldor V. Here he had a beautiful wife and loving friends.

They tried to explain many things to an alien who did not understand the peculiarities of life on their planet. He wrote a diary, began to understand the language of flowers.

Goldstein and his friends indulged in a cult of love. They swapped wives and had orgies.

Then they went on a hike, in the course of which they transformed themselves into primitive humans. After a while, Goldstein’s friends became animals.

The man returned to town. The animals were disappearing and were being replaced by plants. Winter came and the vegetation died.

Goldstein realized that Caldorian life was a chain of continuous changes and reincarnations. He was sad because he could not change, only die.

He waited for death, but hoped that someday he would meet his friends.
