One of three stories about children in the village of Buellerby. Nine-year-old Lisa thinks the village got its name because of the loud gurgling children. In addition to the little girl, five other children live there: Bosse, Lasse, Olle, Britta and Anna.

To get to Bullerby it is necessary to pass a lot of steep hills, as the village lies very high. One day a smart lady came to the village with a little girl who wanted to admire the local views. The girl’s name was Monica and she was the same age as Lisa.

Around the corner of the house, Lisa’s brothers and Ulle were having fun. Lasse had such high stilts that he could look through the windows of the second floor. One day he did so and looked in Lisa’s room which was on the second floor.

Lasse wanted to call out to the children but he tripped over a bucket of pig’s drink and went tumbling to the ground. The children were very amused by his unexpected fall.
