The action of the play takes place on the island where Robinson once spent many years alone. And so Robinson and Friday return to their island. Friday cannot understand why his master suddenly wants to return to the island. Robinson explains to the Indian that he is happy to see the dear to his heart island, which today is truly a paradise place with all the achievements of modernity.

The heroes arrive on the island and make their way to an expensive hotel. At the reception desk they are happy to see the dear guest. He is offered an isolated room with a separate elevator and strongly hints that contact with the locals is undesirable. The receptionist lets Robinson know that the British are not liked on the island. Now Juan Fernandez is a very different island.

Robinson and Friday walk around the capital and admire the tall buildings and beautiful streets. But Crusoe realizes that he is even more alone in this anthill than he was when he really lived here alone. The island has become even more desolate and uninhabited.
