A humorous retelling of the story of Adam and Eve from the Book of Genesis. Adam recounts how Eve got to the Garden of Eden and he saw her for the first time. The «new long-haired creature» was completely incomprehensible to him.

Eve doesn’t seem to like Adam, although he is attracted to her. She is, from his point of view, too emotional, annoying, and constantly demanding things she can do without. She wants to name and name everything.

Eventually Eve is tempted and eats the apple. Next, she discovers little Cain. It takes Adam a long time to figure out who he is. He ponders for a long time and tries to put the child into a class he knows.

At first he assumes it is a fish, then mistakes it for a subspecies of kangaroo or bear. Only toward the end does he guess that it is simply a small human like himself.

Although Eve initially annoys Adam, he eventually falls in love with her.
