The Prince is constantly looking for an excuse to see Elvira. He wants to confess his weakness and ask her forgiveness. But all their meetings constantly end in another fit of jealousy.

Don Morega’s power is overthrown by Don Silva’s forces. The victor is rewarded with Elvira’s hand. It soon transpires that under Silva’s mask all along there has been Don Alfons, who is Donna Elvira’s brother. He marries Donna Inessa. Elvira, having put up with her lover’s jealousy, marries Don Garcia.
