Young doctor Bill Craig is exhausted from night duty and the whims of an old rich patient.

Tired and irritated, he goes to a lecture. There he insults a beautiful intern, nicknamed Trouble, who is crying over a dissected rabbit.

Bill and Trouble are fired. The girl notices that a rich old man has run away and runs to find him. Bill goes after them.

Finds Beda and the rich man at the station. The old man gets sick, Bill saves him and calls an ambulance.

Together with Trouble, he accompanies the sick man to the hospital. A school bus crashes into the ambulance. Bill and an intern rescue the girls who were riding there.

The doctor discusses his upcoming surgery with the old man. Rich likes Bill and Trouble so much that he promises to give the hospital a new pediatric ward if they are taken back.
