In this work the writer criticizes the program of the future united German workers’ party. The Gothic program included an evolutionary transition to socialism without revolutionary movements. The author considers the program a failure; he speaks of the proximity of its main ideas to Lassalianism and makes a harsh criticism.

Marx discusses the dictatorship of the proletariat. He considers it a necessary tool during the transition from capitalism to communism, as well as the existence of a revolutionary strategy and a proletarian party.

In the first phase of the transition to communism, producers will have a right proportional to the labor they deliver. In doing so, the worker will receive a message from society that a certain amount of labor has been delivered to them, minus the resources used for public funds. The individual would then receive, from the public stockpile, objects of consumption, the quantity of which is equal to the amount of labor expended.
