The characters Vi, Flo, and Roux sit on the stage. They are dressed in coats and hats. They sit flat, hardly moving at all. Their voices are quiet, barely audible, their ages undetermined. There is a semi-darkness all around. The characters talk in fragments. They reminisce about how long ago they came together like this. Perhaps it was back in high school.

Vi walks away to the side. The two heroes talk about how she looks, whether or not she realizes what happened. Vee sits down again. Flo leaves. Vee and Roo are having a conversation: has she been told? No, God forbid! How was she found? She looked pretty much the same as usual. Flo returns.

Roo leaves the stage. Flo and you speculate: what does Flo look like? You can’t tell in this light, can you? Has she been told? Oh, no! Absolutely not. Roo returns. The heroes sit in a row, a suggestion to reminisce and hold hands is made. Flo says she can feel the rings.
