5 seconds

Because of the mistake of the corridor attendant, who mixed up the boots of the tuner and the actor, it turned out that the artist is the lover of his colleague’s wife.

Piano tuner Murkin did not find the boots that the corridor attendant should have put in his room. He apologizes, explaining that he mixed up and gave Murkin’s shoes to another tenant.

He remembers who, and the adjuster knocks on the lady next door. She gives him old boots, both on her left foot.

The tuner recognizes the boots — they belong to the actor Blistanov, who goes to this apartment every Tuesday.

Murkin goes to the theater. Backstage, he sees Blistanov, dressed as Bluebeard, offering a revolver to an actor dressed as King Bobesh.

The tuner tells Blistanov about the mix-up with the boots. It transpires that the actor has left his boots with the wife of the artist dressed as King Bobesch. He turns purple. A scandal breaks out.

People outside the theater see the actor dressed as Bluebeard chasing the terrified tuner and threatening him with a revolver.
