The popular Marjorie has a cousin, Veronica, visiting. She is very attractive, but she is not successful with the opposite sex because she is boring and overly virtuous.

At first Veronica is offended, but then asks her sister for help. Marjorie teaches the girl how to behave in the company of guys. Veronica follows her advice and has great success.

Marjorie’s constant suitor, Warren, starts courting her. Her cousin does not like it and forces Veronica to cut off her luxurious hair. The girl immediately becomes a dour girl.

Realizing that she has suffered at the hands of her jealous and self-loving sister, Veronica leaves at night. Before leaving, she cuts off Marjorie’s sleeping braids.
