Jolyon grows up to be a lively boy. He makes up all kinds of games and likes to play pranks. Jolyon loves his father, and his mother is a real god to him. But sometimes his parents can’t handle the boy’s antics either.

One day, Jolyon’s father and mother go on vacation to Ireland. The boy is left in the care of Aunt June. Jolyon has fun and is as mischievous as ever. But at the same time, he is very much looking forward to his parents’ return. When they arrive, the boy throws himself on his mother’s neck.

In the evening, Jolyon waits for her. He really wants his mother to kiss him before he goes to bed. The boy tries his best to stay awake and waits for her to play the piano for his father. When his mother comes to kiss him, the boy asks to go to bed with her. The woman takes him into her bedroom and tucks him in beside her.
