For a long time Egypt had been under the control of the Roman Empire. Long ago this land became part of Alexander the Great’s empire. Thus a dynasty changed there from Egyptian monarchs to Macedonian monarchs. A striking representative of this dynasty is Cleopatra.

At first, the queen ruled with her brothers Ptolemy XIII and Ptolemy XIV. After some time, Cleopatra became the sole ruler of Egypt. In many ways, the Roman legions stationed in Egypt also helped to consolidate the empress’s power. The Roman garrison was headed by the general Mark Antony. With him Cleopatra began a loving relationship.

But lately events have not developed in the best way. Cleopatra complains that she feels remorse for not helping her lover to fight the troops from the metropolis. And no one knows how Egypt’s fate will turn out after her defeat in that battle. However, despite the difficulties, Cleopatra does not intend to give up.
