The young groom even borrowed a toy ring that was on sale at Wilkingwater’s store. Later, a cannon shot was fired, which marked the recognition of the «wedding» as a consummated event.

The next day, a similar ceremony was held at Tinkling’s and his «wife’s» companions — Alice Reinberd was «wedded» as well as Robin Redford.

Then the «husbands» of the aforementioned girls believed that they were being held captive by the boardinghouse administration. One day Robin and William decided to «rescue» their ladies.
